“Being a car enthusiast, I am not only passionate about cars but also have a deep interest in car repairs. I learned the skill from my friend. An opportunity came when we met the owner of Prow- heels Distributor (M) Sdn Bhd. With his encouragement and support, we ventured into the automotive servicing industry.”
In April 2020, Rona Brothers En- terprise was established in Sungai Lalang, Kedah by Firdaus and three business partners – Ahmad Parhan Md Tahir, Solah Hatta Md Tahir and Muhammad Azaad Yurid – right in the midst of the pandemic.
“Many people might think it was unwise to launch a start-up dur- ing such uncertainties but we proved that it might not be such a bad idea. Initially, we focused solely on car maintenance and repairs. We were allowed to operate during the movement control order (MCO) as we were line; therefore, our business was not greatly impacted by the MCO. We then expanded to tyre servicing in August 2021 when
the government introduced a more re- laxed MCO.”
As a one-stop automotive servicing cen- - vicing, car air-conditioning service, brake system and suspension service, minor
and major repairs as well as normal car maintenance services.
“Engine overhaul is by appointment only as it is time consuming and would occupy a service bay. An engine overhaul takes on average and availability of spare-parts,” he added.
