Linglong Tyre to Set Up More Brand Outlets in Malays
Shandong Linglong Tyre has shown its great interest and ambition in the region by being one of the frequent exhibitors in Tyrexpo Asia, the longest established and most internationally participated tyre trade event in Southeast Asia.
This year, Linglong Tyre took part in the exhibition with its new Crosswind MT off-road tyres and Green-Max Van tyres for light trucks. Both series market, taking the weather and road conditions into consideration.
“We have worked out a concept that includes ‘customised R&D (research and development), one-stop service, targeted policy and different mar- keting strategy’, and market segmentation is of utmost importance. We implement a more professional and dedicated marketing approach. We have put a lot of our efforts in cross-culture communication to adapt to the market and improve our sales process,” said Linglong Tyre President Wang Feng.
To increase Malaysia outlets to more than 20
Last year, Linglong Tyre set up 10 brand outlets in Malaysia and this year, it planned to increase them to more than 20. “We have an independent sales team formed by the local people. They are senior sales personnel who understand the local market situation and consumer behaviour, and are able to work independently. They will be a good help to us especially in providing products that are suitable for the market,” Wang said.
Being an important free trade region and where the world’s natural rubber came from, Southeast Asia had obvious location and resource advan- tages. To tap these advantages, Wang pointed out that Linglong Tyre had its business to other Asean countries in the future as it was through this plant that the company was able to leverage on the Asean auto industry and other related industry resources.
