Sees 46% Leap in Visitor Participation
On Automechanika Kuala Lumpur’s return, there was a revived sense of business vitality from the automotive industry at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
This year’s show attracted 10,267 visitors from 77 countries and regions, which was a 46% jump compared to its previous edition. Three hundred and thirty companies from 17 countries and re- gions participated, an increase of 13 per cent occupying 11,071 square metres from halls 1 to 5 and 7C.
“It is great to see that the market is bouncing back in such a dy- namic and active way,” said Fiona Chiew, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. “Thanks to our close-knit network, we could recognise how global trends are taking shape in the region and communicated them in easily accessible ways. The main feedback we had from participants was that the rapid rate of ad- vancement has led to assessing products and supply chains more - cient operational models. a higher number of exhibitors from commercial vehicle sectors while only one or two automotive service equipment suppliers took part. ADTEC, Alientech, Caltex Delo, Celette, CL Group, EMG, Hot Wheels, JTM, Launch Tech, Leng Kee Auto Academy, Magic Cube, Pac Auto Marketing, Sata, Schmaco, Vanli and ZF were the 16 strategic and industry partners of the show.
