Goodyear Launches Assurance ComfortTred for Ultimate Comfort Ride
Goodyear Malaysia recently launched its brand-new Assur- ance ComfortTred, an expansion
of the company’s Assurance portfolio - senger vehicles.
With the combination of advanced technolo- gy and a sophisticated tread pattern, Good- year Malaysia claims that the consumer-fo- cused design of the Assurance ComfortTred introducing a new level of ‘serenity’.
Using ANX Technology, the Assurance ComfortTred is said to deliver a quieter driving experience on the road. Con- structed with an extra noise and vibration cancelling layer built with Goodyear’s - sulated against rolling noise. In addition to the ‘ultimate comfort and quiet ride’, Goodyear says the Assurance kilometre to the last in wet road grip and shorter braking distance. The new gen- eration tread compound features a high amount of silica and resin for additional traction, which provides incremental mod- ulation to the road surface, leading to bet- ter road contact and water evacuation.
“We believe that the new Assurance ComfortTred is a true comfort provider that enables the vehicle to become a quiet space for passengers to recharge themselves, gathering their thoughts and sharing moments with people they cher- ish,” comments Alex Ng, Managing Di- rector of Goodyear Malaysia.
The Assurance ComfortTred is avail- able in 12 sizes in Malaysia, ranging from 16-inches (215/55R16) to 19-inch- es (245/45R19). It is suitable for luxury passenger vehicles, both gasoline and electric, including the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6 and other luxury pas- senger models in the Malaysian market.
