  CKL Group’s School of Skills in MOU with SEGi
School of Skills (SOS), a member of CKL Group, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SEGi College Subang Jaya (SEGi) on 30th March 2021.
CKL Group Joint Managing Director Clement Lim said that the aim of the agreement is to create a pathway for SOS students to further their education. “Many parents and even students themselves ap-                    which has led us to this collaboration.”
The collaboration with SEGi, he stressed, was the            that we are championing, especially amidst the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure the continuity of our student’s education. It is key for SOS’ students to recognise the values that the educational institution is bringing to their future. Together with SEGi, SOS demonstrates that there is more than one way to achieve higher education through Technical and Vo- cational Education and Training (TVET).”
Lim pointed out that SEGi will provide an academic pathway, not just for diploma level, but also through a degree pathway with the University of Sunderland, in the United Kingdom. The MOU would enable SOS’ students who have completed and passed the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Light Vehicle Repair                  enrol in the SEGi diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
“From the Diploma Programme, students will have the opportunity to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering or the Automotive Engineering Pro-        fees to students from SOS,” he added.
SEGi College Subang Jaya Principal Calvin Chan said, “This collaboration is timely for us as educa- tors because we play an important role to equip our future generations with the essential skills needed to excel in their career. We believe in nurturing our students into becoming life-long learners. We place a strong emphasis on what interests our students in our teaching approach and at the same time fos- ter development skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking and communications. Together, our goal is to create awareness amongst the youth and the next generation in Malaysia especially in the
