During Ramadan, the company conducted two live stream sales campaigns - Headway 175X65X14 tyres and Conti- nental MC5 215X45R17, with more than 300 pcs of Con- tinental MC5 sold. The Headway sales were not as great as Continental but this was expected as Headway is a new Chinese brand.
Tan managed to kill two birds with one stone – a pretty good achievement for the company from the sales aspect and a chance to educate consumers on the myth that freshly manufactured tyres are always better as these tyres were manufactured in 2018.
Many consumers, she said, believe that tyres that are fresh from the oven are safer and perform better than those that have been manufactured a year or more than a year ago. This belief has led to a constant hunt for new tyres. Of course, this is not true, and the live stream campaign served as a good channel for her to debunk this myth. These tyres were sold at a bit lower than the market price but are         - dence that Tan has on the brand and quality.
