During the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, the Group has managed to work with various partners such as Maxis, Astro Rewards, Shopee, Grab purchase their tyres, lubricants, battery vouchers and deliver nationwide. The strength of the brand has always been strong marketing and partnerships, and this would continue to drive the marketplace to greater heights.
At limtayarisonline, it’s not about selling the cheapest and having price wars but to sell packages, bundles and to main- tain a healthy competition amongst brand owners and to give consumers the best value for money.
As we get into this new norm of the post MCO era, studies have shown that more and more consumers would rely on e-commerce as the main source of purchasing. This buying behaviour will undoubtedly change the way we op- erate our brick and mortar business. Tyre dealers can no longer expect to open their stores daily and hope that the consumers will walk in. The deal- ers most likely need to tie consumers services and go the extra mile, such as vouchers to attract consumers to visit them.
Group felt that the best solution would be to come together collectively and unite the strengths of each other in or- der to survive. Technology, the Group
said, is something that everyone in the industry has to embrace one way or an- other.
