New Tread Liner Ranges
Klang, Malaysia based tread rubber manufacturer Maxrub- has been in the market a long time, and which is only now beginning to look actively outside its own borders to expand its business. The company announced its debut on the interna- tional market with a stand at the recent Tyrexpo Asia exhibition in Singapore.
Maxrubber was originally established in 1989 by Lee Chee Ke- - ally moved into manufacturing with a focus on rubber moulded - ed compounding system was installed in order to enhance the manufacturing process as well as increase production capacity. Equipped with this new production line, Maxrubber then expand- ed its business to the manufacture of tyre retreading materials. into a new 2.2 acres factory in Klang in 2009.
Maxrubber has clearly had a long history in the industry even if company is looking to expand following its presence at Tyrexpo - ing Director John Lee Chen Lim. “We will also be emphasising the company’s strong history,” he added.
Maxrubber were showing three new developments during Tyr- expo Asia. Firstly, the company has recently expanded into the manufacture of OTR tread liners. “We are trying to push our OTR patterns to retreaders,” said Lee. “Most OTR retreaders are hot cure so we think we can sell the concept.”
Maxrubber was also demonstrating a new contoured tread liner as well as a recently developed range of non-marking pre-cured treads for use on tyres for warehosues, hospitals and other simi- lar applications.
