Eversafe Completes USD 6 Million Factory Expansion
Eversafe have announced that they have completed a USD 6 million factory expan- Malaysia. The expansion project, which was instigated at the end of 2012, has increased the company’s tread rubber and camelback capac- ity to 1500 tonnes. The company’s total mixing capacity is currently 4,000 tonnes. The expansion proj- ect was completed at the end of 2014. The news was revealed to Retreading Business during a visit to the company’s stand at Tyrexpo Asia.
According to the management key investments made as part of the ex- pansion programme include a new line of mixers and cutters as well as improvements in extrusion, calen- daring and storage. Meanwhile, in- creased mixing capacity has given it to sell compounds while catering for demand in pre-cured treads and camelback too.
The company says that the expan- sion is also allowing more active expansion into overseas markets. Since the installation of an 11m tread press in 2012, Eversafe has been able to commence exporting to Europe and is now looking at Central and South America. With
