Meanwhile, the SSR Concept Wheels Sdn Bhd was the last independent tyre servicing centre in Kuala Lumpur that had converted to Hankook Masters in December last year.
“After selling a number of brands for years, we discov- ered that tyre defects might cause steering pull and sta- bility on some vehicles despite the good wheel alignment and balancing. Thus, the quality assurance, safety and reliability of a tyre are very important to us. Since we started selling the Hankook range in July 2014, we have enjoyed greater peace of mind as we did not encounter any tyre defect and claims,” said Managing Director Pe- ter Loh.
As the owner of 3 tyre service centres in Kuala Lum- pur and ranked among the top three Hankook dealers in sales volume, Loh had a humble beginning. Loh was a technician in Kit Loong for 3 years before setting up his own tyre shop in 1989. Loh was thankful for the technical and skills training that Kit Loong had given him.
“Tyre servicing is not so much on sales but a service industry. Apart from good customer service, our in-depth knowledge, strong skills and technical base as well as years of experience in tyres, wheels and repairs have          of retaining customers; once a client has used our ser- vices, he will not go elsewhere.”
Being a one-stop destination for all tyre and auto re- pair needs, Loh expressed pride in offering reliable, prompt and high quality service. Even for auto repairs,              the convenience of customers as well as due to space constraint.
Currently, Loh had 7 technicians. To maintain the com- pany’s standard in tyre servicing and auto repairs, Loh stressed the importance of training the company’s tech- nicians. Loh trained them from scratch and they had been with him for many years.
