MATRDS Holds Chinese New Year Dinner
The Malaysian Association of Tyre Retreaders & Dealers Societies (MATRDS) held a Chinese New Year dinner on 2nd March, 2015 at Chef Rasa Sayang, Crystal Crown Hotel, Petaling Jaya.
The dinner was well attended by about 70 of MATRDS members and invited guests from all over emotional night for H.T. Tan as he would complete his two terms as the President and was not eli- gible for election in the upcoming MATRDS’ AGM in May 2015. Tan thanked everyone present for their support during the past 4 years of his tenure.
Anticipating a challenging 2015 with the rising US currency and GST implementation issues, Tan urged members to work together in helping each other.
The event was also an important meeting point for MATRDS members as well as invit- ed guests from the local tyre manufacturer
and importer industry to gather information about the latest market developments, ex- change ideas and catch up with each other.
