 “The company plans to open battery retailing shops and expand regionally. In the Philippines, it successfully penetrated the mar- ket with Varta batteries and is looking to expand its tyre and lubricant business there.”
The challenge, he noted, was the huge age gap among family members that work in HT Group. “We are a big multi-generation family working together. There are seven family members from the second generation, nine from the third, including me who is the eldest, and the fourth generation who just joined the compa- ny. The age gap of about 20 years or more is a real challenge.
