Meanwhile, for all-steel radial tyres, Linglong Tire uses the DOS design sys- tem that is a development process by itself. With computer-aided engineering (CAE) software, the company simulates its product performance based on Eu- ropean and the United States market demands before combining them with databases. This not only shortens the cycle of product development but also - opment. In addition, Linglong’s innova- tive SCOT technology ensures a prod- uct’s high mileage and balances other tyre performance areas.
In 2020, LLIT passed the Potential Anal- ysis (POT), conducted by the Volkswa- gen Group auditors. LLIT is the only Chinese tyre manufacturer that secured TGL/TGM models and Brazilian de- livery models from October 2021. The E-plus truck tyre series for MAN high- end prime movers was tested by IDIA- DA, a third-party test organisation. It is said that the handling and comfort per- formance of the E-plus tyre reached the level of major international brands and its dry and wet braking performance is better than a world-class brand by four to seven per cent.

Since its establishment, LLIT was very committed in its corporate social respon- sibility (CSR) by promoting community government, schools and communities to carry out more than 100 social activ- ities. These included respect for the el- derly, welfare, education, helping the poor, sports, culture, direct and indirect funding and donations of more than 30 million baht.
An instance was LLIT providing a helping northeastern part of Thailand as well as Surasak. The company made monetary donations to the Red Cross Society and the Thai Prime Minister met Linglong’s top management twice due to the com- pany’s generosity. LLIT also donated to- wards the building of hospitals, temples and primary schools. Other CSR activi- ties included organising football training for youths, sponsoring children’s day ac- tivities and golf tournaments, providing Linglong Tire drift car rentals, employ- ee tree planting and ocean protection events.
Following changes in the international market and the company’s development, Linglong Tire revised its ‘3+3’ strate-
gy that was implemented for 10 years to focus on a ‘7+5’ global development strategy in 2021.
