Transport the recommended amount of load in your car – more weight means the brakes have to do more work to stop your vehicle and, subsequently this may shorten the brake pads life as well.
Stop at the roadside when needed, do not overstress the brakes. Take a moment to let the brakes cool down before you depart again.
