Featuring a new pattern that strikes an optimum balance performance, the new Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 is suitable for all types of pickups, SUVs and 4x4s.
According to YHI Malaysia, the sole distributor of Yokohama tyres in Malaysia, the Geolandar M/T G003 traction, ride comfort, tread life and other core elements. It utilises Yo- kohama’s proprietary Geo-Shield construction that consists of a full nylon cap with multiple sidewall plies, steel belts and a turn up car- cass for extreme traction and reli- able protection.
The adoption of the new Triple Poly- mer blend compound improves the Geolandar M/T G003’s responsive- as well as enhancing the steering stability and wear resistance. It also prevents tread damage that driving. The large mesh lug groove available also suppresses noise on muddy and rocky surfaces, while digging in to give a greater traction. Traction on hard ground and wet road surfaces are further enhanced through its sequential sipe. In ad- dition, with its mud and stone ejec- tor, as well as an aggressive side block, tyre damage to groove bot- toms from rocky surfaces and side- cut are greatly reduced, allowing even in deeper mud.
On the street, the company said that the Geolandar M/T G003 is a much quieter mud terrain tyre with Yokohama’s computer aided variable pitch tread sequence that works to reduce the unwanted noise.
Available sizes range from 15 to 20 inches in diameter.
