Hiap Hoe Dealers Appreciation Night
Hiap Hoe Loon Tai Sdn Bhd, the latest distributor of Apollo Passenger Car Radial (PCR) tyres, held its Dealers Appreciation Night at Setia Alam, Selan- gor on 15th March, 2019. The event, which was co-hosted with Apollo Tyres Malaysia, served as a gesture of both companies’ gratitude and appreciation for the staunch support from the dealers.
More than 200 dealers across the country attended the dinner. It was indeed a multi-racial celebration with a good mixture of Chinese, Malay and Indian tyre dealers, which was quite unusual as the tyre industry is perceived as being dominated by the Chinese. Many Malay dealers even came all the way from Kelantan and Terengganu. As such, the event was conducted in Malay and Mandarin.
Among the highlights to reward the loyal customers were the exclusive presentation of the Louis XIIl by the Hennessy con- sultant, exciting lucky draw and promotions as well as presen- tation of premium gifts to the top sales supporters of the night.
Established in 1943 by the late founder Ng Guan Swee, the company started business under the trade name of Hiap Hoe. Initially, the company dealt with a wide variety of bicycles and later expanded to replacement automotive parts, including tyres. Over the years, the company grew tremendously. Hiap Hoe is currently one of the largest tyre wholesalers in Ma- laysia with an extensive distribution network, supplying tyres to more than 700 shops nationwide.
