After the brief by Cheng Jinyuan and Wen Hui on General Technolo- gy and the process of tyre production, the tyre dealers and guests attend- ing the event came away with a better understanding of the company and Goodtrip tyres. This was expected - dence in them to promote this range of new tyres.
The sale of Good- trip tyres in Malay- sia began in March 2019. In just three months, the brand achieved good consumer re- sponse, indicating that Goodtrip tyres were worth the money.
At present, Good- trip has two tyre models available here; GP-16 and GR-66.
The GP-16 is a value segment tyre that is comfortable, safe and quiet. It is mainly suitable for general cars, with tyre sizes ranging from 13 to 15 inches.
The GR-66 is a sporty UHP tyre with an asymmetrical tread design that ensures excellent dry grip with four wide longitudinal grooves, - verse grooves and a unique tread formula. It also excels in wet road handling performance. Tyre sizes range from 16 to 18 inches.
Currently, the Goodtrip tyres are produced in China as the Thai production line is just getting into full swing. It would be in 2020 that Malaysia would introduce Goodtrip tyres produced in Thailand, along with 4x4 tyres and other models. By then, a more comprehensive range of tyre models and sizes would available for consumers to choose from.
