Nexen Tire Expands in Malaysia
Korean tyre brand Nexen Tire is distributed in Malaysia by HT Performance Tyre Sdn Bhd, which started operations in May 2019. The company is a member of HT Group, which distributes a wide range of auto- motive products including vehicle com- ponents, batteries, tyres and lubricants as well as provides vehicle maintenance and repair services at its workshops.
HT Performance Tyre is based in Pu- chong, Selangor and is focused on - mands of consumers by bringing in a wide range of high quality Nexen pas- senger car tyres. HT Performance Tyre Director Terence Tay noted that Nexen Tire was now the top Korean tyre brand in Singapore, where the HT Group had distributed the brand since 2002.
Nexen Tire is positioned as a young and energetic brand that provides renowned Korean product quality at accessible prices.
“Just like many Korean consumer prod- ucts that we have seen over the past few years, Nexen Tire aims to provide value. This is also done via customer - said Tay.
Branch Manager Cizin Kim pointed out that the company distributed Nexen Tire products for a wide range of cars, rang- ing from SUVs (sport utility vehicles) to high-end cars. “We have a competitive advantage as we build value by under- standing customers’ needs. Our cus-
