golo 4 also offered comprehensive vehicle management and drive service solution, which could help the user operate business at its full potential. Chia pointed out that it would remind drivers when they were speeding, accelerating and braking. Other functions included monitoring real-time vehicle location and status, driving behaviour and route management for fuel saving. Understanding and know- ing the vehicle’s condition, Chia stressed, helped the user reduce maintenance cost.
“We started to introduce golo 4 to the Malaysian market in early new diagnostic product for the end-user market but also a powerful and car insurers.”
For vehicle owners that were equipped with golo 4, Chia continued, damage and fault elimination. For workshop and service centre opera- tors, they could help their customers with driveability at any time and from anywhere, optimise their workload and attract more customers.
“Fleet companies, taxi group of companies and any company with its - hicle management and driver service solution will help them monitor reduce fuel consumption, idle time and maintenance expenses. Last but not least, Launch would provide a big data platform that would allow the participation of other companies. For example, with the vast actual vehicle usage data, the participating insurance company would be able to increase their quote accuracy and provide person- alised auto insurance package according to one’s driving habits.”
Chia also revealed Launch’s latest partnerships with China Auto Rental 10,000 of its rented cars, and Didi Dache, one of the leading smart- phone taxi-hailing apps in China, making it available for golo users.
