CST Sponsors Ajax Indonesia Tour
This year marks the 25th anniversary of CST Xiamen Group. To celebrate this special occasion, CST is or- ganising a series of events.
Among the events was the Ajax Indonesia Tour, which was 9th to 13th May, CST invited hundreds of its distributors from China and other countries to Indonesia to watch the friendly match between Ajax Amsterdam, which just won the 2013- 3014 season’s ‘Eredivisie’ title, and Persija Jakarta.
It was an exciting match for the distributors. Not even the heavy rainfall during the second half could stop the spectators at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, including the dis- tributors, from cheering for their respective team. The friendly match was won by the guest team with a score of 3-0.
On the 12th May afternoon, CST organised a special ‘Meet the Players’ session for its distributors to interact and take photo with the Ajax players. The event was followed by a grand dinner.
The evening started with Indonesia’s traditional Kecak dance as the welcome performance. Among the highlights of the event were an interactive ‘Angklung’ session and a charity auction.
The Angklung is an Indonesian traditional musical instru- ment, made of two bamboo tubes that are attached to a bamboo frame. The Angklung produces a single note or chord and several players must collaborate to play melo- dies. All of the participants were given an Angklung to play
