LS Auto Introduces Two New Automotive Service
LS Automotive, the distributor of Giuliano and M&B automotive service equipment in Ma- laysia, displayed two new automotive service equipment in the recent exhibition held outside the compound of Dewan Serbaguna Taman Chai Leng, Prai, Penang. The exhibition was held in conjunc- tion with the 54th anniversary celebration of the North Malaysia Tyre Association.
The two new equipment that attracted many enqui- ries were the Giuliano S234 tyre changer and M&B WB680P wheel balancer.
Ideal for tyre specialists, the Giuliano S234 is a high performance super-automatic tyre changer. It car wheels rim from 10” to 28”(maximum wheel diameter 1120mm/44”, maximum wheel width 406mm/16”). It has turntable with double-cylinder, adjustable clamps positioning and pedal operated two speed bidirectional rotation system, as well as equipped with ‘combined two assist arms’ for easy mounting/demounting tyres.
The S234 tyre changer utilises Giuliano patented SBS system for bead breaker shovel travel mem- Help and Press Arm. Other features include ad- justable bead breaker shovel angle, QuadraLock system for total stiff locking of horizontal and oper- ating arm, robotic pipe for operating arm position- ing/lock, etc.
Meanwhile, the WB680P wheel balancer is a top range M&B computerised electronic wheel bal- ancing machine with LCD XVGA monitor and 3D graphics to facilitate all the operator’s work proce- dures. It is solid, fast and reliable, and can handle all car wheels up to 30” and all light truck and mo- torcycle wheels up to a maximum wheel diameter of 44”. It is equipped with a new pneumatic system with 60mm stroke, which allows a rapid, reliable and cyclic locking of all wheels.
It can operate on wheels of a maximum weight up to 80kg and with an internal offset of up to 345 mm (distance between the wheel mounting surface and chassis) without the use of any spacers. This facili- tates inspection of rims/wheels and speeds up the positioning of weights on the inside rim.
