Tyrexpo Africa 2018 Sets Sail for Success
The 7th edition of the show focused on 3 core areas to deliver maximum value for sellers and buyers in the African tyre community through:
- A human-element focused, truly personalised business matching service for sellers and Buyers, supporting the community’s need for new, meaningful relationships to be established on the platform; supporting the rollout of new and existing products to the region;
- Widening the core exhibiting profile to include the garage segment, providing buyers (fleet owners, OEMs, garage owners, distributors) the potential to acquire new products and solutions to diversify or enhance their service offerings;
- Focusing the omni-channel outreach campaign to draw buyers from 10 key markets in the Sub-saharan region, with the intent to grow visitors from outside South Africa.
Ever since the inception of the show, SingEx Exhibitions as the organiser of the show has emphasised on the personal touch as enablers of the community in the buying and selling process. Ian Wu, Cluster Director (Healthcare and Automotive & Commodities) at SingEx Exhibitions said: “We pride ourselves in the quality of event participants and our unique approach of deploying a dedicated on-ground team allows us to personalise individual buyers’ and sellers’ business matching needs, helping our exhibitors strengthen existing or establish new commercial relationships through the human element.”
