Suzuki Motor Corporation counts on original equipment expertise from Continental for its new Vitara S-Cross series. The Japanese car manufacturer relies worldwide on the energy-saving tires EcoContact 6 in size 17″. In addition to short braking distances, the premium tyre offers reliable grip on dry and wet roads and very good cornering stability even at high speeds.
Continental EcoContact 6 for Suzuki
Suzuki opted for EcoContat 6, a model for which Continental developers made a special rubber compound. In combination with the size-independent tread design, it reduces energy absorption while driving and reduces both friction and rolling resistance. This means lower energy consumption for cars with combustion engines and greater ranges for electric vehicles.
In addition, the tyre compound of the EcoContact 6 that opted for leads to a long tyre life. In addition to short braking distances, the premium tyre offers reliable grip on dry and wet roads and very good cornering stability even at high speeds thanks to its tailor-made tread pattern and asymmetrical groove and sipe geometry. The optimised tread design also reduces the tyre’s rolling noise for greater noise comfort.
