Nexen Tire has been an official partner of Manchester City since 2015 and is now supporting the club’s 2024 U.S. tour.
City USA Tour 2024 Started on 24 July and Will Conclude on 3 August
Nexen Tire, on 30 July 2024, announced its partnership with the City USA Tour 2024. The tour, consisting of four pre-season matches, gives U.S. soccer fans the chance to see the Manchester City FC compete live against top European football clubs across the country.
Nexen Tire has been an official partner of Manchester City since 2015 and this partnership highlights the football club’s global reach and ability to connect with its massive global fan base. In addition to Nexen Tire-branded Manchester City kits, the partnership also includes company branding at each venue.
This year’s tour kicked off with a friendly match between Manchester City and Celtic at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C., on 24 July. Manchester City then headed to the Yankee Stadium in New York City on 27 July to face AC Milan.
The tour continues on 31 July at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, where Manchester City will face FC Barcelona. The final friendly match of the tour is between Manchester City and Chelsea, taking place at the third largest college sports stadium in the country, Ohio Stadium, in Columbus. With a capacity of more than 102,000, Ohio Stadium ranks just behind Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania and Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
