products to the country. Following a Samson truck centre that we opened in Jitra, Alor Setar last year, we would open our second truck centre in Seremban. Our target for this year is to open 20 truck centres.”
To show commitment to the local industry, Yen said they met the Malaysia Transport Minister Anthony Loke. “It was a fruitful dis- cussion. We shared with the Minister our company’s vision and smart green ener- gy tyres that are designed to be more en- vironmentally friendly. They improved fuel
      reduce CO2 emission. Moreover, they are more sustainable with good casings that could be retreaded, reducing tyre waste. Loke was impressed that we are ready to take the lead in environment sustainability.”
The greater challenge for the company, Yen said, was to convince price sensitive cus- tomers to look at the long-term value. “We try our very best to let customers see how we could help them improve their bottom line with the right and good quality tyres.
