Apollo Tyres Revamps Mining Range with Bias and Radial Tyres
Apollo Tyres has revamped its of- fering for the mining segment in India with the introduction of En- tyre, and Terra MT, a bias tyre.

Apollo Terra MT is a bias tyre for the min- ing segment of commercial vehicles. The company developed these tyres based on the inputs received from customers relating to casing durability. Apollo Terra to chipping and chunking, higher initial tread mileage (ITM) and best-in-class re- treadability.
The company says it spent 1000+ man- hours in the development and testing of the Apollo Terra MT before launch- ing it to customers. The new hybrid reinforcing technology in tread com- pound and distribution of more rubber mass on the wear zone are said to provide superior mileage. Engineered polymer blend in the sidewall of Apollo Terra MT makes it cut resistant and the increased shoulder gauge with stone protector protects the casing from ex- ternal damages.
Mining are 11.00 R20 and 12.00 R24 while those for the Apollo Terra MT are 12.00 R20 and 12.00 R24.
