Roadone Launches New QA919, Adds New HF21 & GD08 Tyre Sizes

Apart from that, Goh says Roadone also introduced new size of- ferings for its HF21 and GD08 LTR tyres. “We are proud to bring in
new additions to the size line-up for these two tyres, which shows our commitment to better serve the truck tyre market, an impor- tant segment that bolsters economic activities for the nation.”
The company added a new size – 225/80R17.5 – to the HF21 truck tyre range that was initially available with three sizes; 11R22.5, 235/75R17.5 and 298/80R22.5. This new size, accord- ing to Goh, is very popular in the Malaysian light truck segment.
Aimed at long-haul high-speed travel on the highway and city road use, he says the HF21 is an all-position TBR tyre for the transport industry. “The tyre’s grip performance on wet surfaces is greatly improved, thanks to its optimised contour design, extra deep and wide tread pattern as well as special tiny sipes on the tread. All these features allow the users to achieve a safer, more comfortable and fuel saving drive. The unique grooves design of HF21 has increased the tyre’s self-cleaning and anti-stone trapping capability. Additionally, its wide shoulder block design
Meanwhile, the newest dimension for the GD08 light truck tyre is 225/80R17.5 in addition to its existing three sizes - 7.00R16LT, 7.50R16LT and 235/75R17.5. He points out that the GD08 is a drive position light truck tyre for medium and short distance use. It is good for medium and low speed driving on mixed roads, such as country and village roads. With unique horizontal and ‘powerful’ drive and braking performance. Resistance to abnor- mal wear and longer service life is achieved through its wider and deeper tread pattern. The tyre’s durable carcass and bead structure anti-puncture and explosion design comes with good load carrying capacity.
