ZC Rubber has acquired Tianjin Unit- ed Tire & Rubber International Co, Ltd (TUTRIC) as its next step in global expansion.
ZC Rubber is extending its OTR tyre prod- articulated and rigid dump trucks, port applications, underground mines, and in- dustrial and forklift operations. Acquiring TUTRIC would strengthen the company’s product range.
Zhongce Rubber (Tianjin) Co, Ltd., as a newly established wholly-owned subsidi- ary of ZC Rubber, started operations on 1st April, 2022 with the new company taking responsibility for the day-to-day business operations at the Tianjin fac- tory. Henry Shen, President of Zhongce Rubber (Tianjin) Co Ltd, stated: “Tianjin United Tire & Rubber International Co, Ltd is the most professional manufacturer of special tyres in China, producing 6- to 63-inch tyres, with more than 2000 SKUs
Shen was delighted to announce that this acquisition would expand ZC Rubber Group’s business to the radial agricul- tural tyre and giant OTR tyre segments. He continued: “ZC Rubber now has one of the largest range of agricultural and OTR tyres available to our customers as we hope to provide them with a one-
TUTRIC’s factory at Tianjin, established in 1985, covers an area of 480,000m2. With this latest factory acquisition, it’s clear ZC Rubber is becoming a force to be reckoned with, especially by branch- and implement tyres as well as OTR tyres, which would be manufactured at the Tianjin factory.
ZC Rubber Group President Shen Jinrong concluded that ZC Rubber’s goal was ‘to be the most respected tyre manufactur- er in the world’ as it continued to work towards being the second-largest OTR factory in Asia and among the top three global OTR tyre manufacturers soon.
