Introduced in April 2021, the new high-performance Ziex ZE310R Ecorun features an asymmetric pattern with op- timised block rigidity distribution. Being the winner of nu- merous awards from independent testing organisations, Tyre Specialist Moo Chee Fong said, the ZE310R has re- ceived an encouraging response from the market despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We call the new ZE310R as a ‘baby’ version of the Aze- nis FK510, which implies that the new tyre leverages FK510’s technologies. These include the compound of the Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd (SRI) called Advanced - lent traction and grip on wet and dry roads, as well as improved wear life. Consistent contact with the road sur- face is achieved, thanks to its Adaptive Constant Pressure (ACP) tread design. The new tyre also features the latest in noise reduction technology which provides a more com- fortable ride.”
The creation of this tyre by SRI, he pointed out is to cater for performance-oriented and price-sensitive consumers. The timing is just right, he said, as the population of this segment is on the rise due to the pandemic.
Other features, he continued, include wide circumferen- response, enhanced resistance against aquaplaning and shorter braking distance.
