Apollo Tyres Introduces XT-100HD for Commercial Vehicles
Apollo Tyres has introduced the XT- 100HD, which the company claims is the most advanced
of both worlds, through load car-
rying capacity and mileage,
while still ensuring the most du-
rable casing in the industry.
This product has been intro- duced for the Indian market by popular demand from the cus- tomers and business partners,
who before were already using and selling the company’s ‘best- in-class mileage’ tyres, as well as the tyres with the highest load car- rying capacity in the cross-ply segment.
The replacement market in India
is still going strong on cross ply tyres, with almost a 50:50 split between radial and cross ply. Apollo Tyres has intro- duced this technologically advanced product to carry moder- ate loads in regional haulage and mixed applications in the drive position. Being produced at the company’s facility in - Andhra Pradesh. The performance of XT-100HD, in these road tests, have been far superior to the key competition in the industry.
Commenting on the launch of the new product, Satish Shar- East & Africa (APMEA), said, “Apollo holds a leading market position in both drive and steer axle tyres, with many prod- the XT-100HD in the truck-bus cross ply lug design category, within the load and mileage segment. To continue with our leadership in the commercial vehicle segment, it is important compliant with the revised axle load norms in India as well.”
The tyre comes with a heavy-duty casing with a new high - rying capacity. The durability of the casing has also been enhanced with the new heat ageing resistant compound and tyre cavity (HEART) technology, which ensures the cooler the best residual casing for retreadability.
The tread has been designed using the company’s in-house Modular Matrix Tread (MMT) technology, with reinforced compounds and high tread rubber mass, that delivers the highest mileage in its segment.
