Ministry of Health of Malaysia Approves
Lassa Transway 2 for Ambulance Vehicles
PTS Marketing Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of Lassa Tyres in Malaysia, recently announced that the Ministry of Health of Malaysia has approved the Lassa Transway 2 in size 225/65R16C for the Iveco 35S15 ambu- lance vehicle.
As a light commercial tyre developed for the new generation of commercial vehicle, Business Development & Marketing Manager Lee Vicren claimed that the Lassa Transway 2 en- - dorsed by the Ministry of Health of Malaysia, as they have ambulance vehicles. Other advantages include lower rolling resistance, improved wet and dry performance as well as lower fuel consumption.
“In line with the needs of domestic and international markets, Lassa provides products which are approved by independent many awards. The Lassa Transway 2 in size 225/65R16C Malaysia, it has passed the FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 139. The FMVSS 139 adopted more strin- gent high speed and endurance tests as well as a new low- loaded conditions. The tests were conducted by Global Test- ing and Consultancy for Rubber (G-TACR), a one-stop centre for rubber at the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB).”
Lassa Tyres, he continued, is a leading brand in Turkey, in 1974. Lassa was renamed Brisa ten years after starting with Japanese giant, the Bridgestone Corporation. Today, he said, Lassa tyre are produced with Brisa’s latest technology and Research and Development studies.
The tyre is available in 25 sizes, ranging from 14 to 17-inch- es in diameter. He revealed that the company will be getting of ambulance vehicles.
