Following the AGM was the presentation ceremony of 2019 Tay See Cheong Education Fund scholarship awards to the members’ children who excelled in their studies. Hawk Tayar has been sponsoring this edu- cation fund for more than 20 years.
JSTDA Charity Drive 2020
The outbreak of Covid-19 and the Ma- spread of the virus through the move- ment control order (MCO) and conditional movement control order (CMCO), have af- corporations greatly. The care centres, such as care homes for the elderly and orphan- ages are in shortage of food and other sup- plies, as well as monetary support.
To help the needy, the Johor State Tyre Dealers Association (JSTDA) has decided to organise a JSTDA Charity Drive 2020. charitable organisations in all the districts of Johor. The event convener, Deputy Presi- dent Chai Min Yew and committee members in respective districts of Johor are respon- organisations that are in dire need of help.
On 6th September, led by President Tay Meng Fatt, Chai Min Yew, Low Mong Whok, Liew Choong Jee, Kew Tong Yee, Yap Boon Seng, Lau Man Yeng, Kerk Kim Sia, Ng Teck Chean, and other members have embarked on this initiative with a series of visits, which went beyond giving material gifts and ‘an-
