‘Chelsea FC’ Japan Pre-season Match

       
        
     
Yokohama Rubber Co, Ltd would support the pre-season match in Japan of English Premier League Chelsea FC, for which the           World Challenge’ would be played on 19th July, 2019 at the International Stadium Yokohama and the opposing team would be the 2017 and 2018 J.League Champions Kawasaki Frontale. Fan events are scheduled           - ties for Japanese football fans to experience a Premier League atmo- sphere up close.
Pre-season matches are held before the start of the English Premier League season, which begins in August. The matches tend to be held outside of England, with matches held in the United States (2015 and 2016), China (2017), Singapore (2017) and Australia (2018) since Yo- kohama Rubber started its partnership with Chelsea. Yokohama Rubber has been requesting Chelsea FC to hold a pre-season match in Japan and J.League, the event organiser, realised Chelsea’s request for a pre- season match in Japan. Yokohama Rubber says it would work closely with Chelsea while the team is in Japan to bring Japanese fans closer to the ‘Blues’ ahead of the 2019/20 season.
To date, Yokohama Rubber and Chelsea FC have co-organised two Chelsea Legend fan events in Japan, with Frank Lampard in 2017 and              time since the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup. The Chelsea star players are scheduled to join the pre-season tour, with the ‘Blues’ bringing its stron- gest possible squad, and a high level battle is expected with J.League champions Kawasaki Frontale.

The prestigious Golden Peacock Award 2019 for ‘in- novative product and service’ was accorded to Apollo Tyres recently at a function held at Al Habtoor Palace in Dubai. P.K. Mohamed, Chief Advisor, R&D, Apollo Tyres Ltd received the award from the Minister of Economy, UAE, Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri. Also present at the occasion was Ambassador of India to UAE, Shri Navdeep Singh Suri.
Apollo Tyres received this award for the development of the          - dia. The tyre, named Apollo Alpha H1, was created employ- ing world class steel radial technology, which was suitably         - ment in the tougher markets of India.
The Golden Peacock Innovative Product/Service awards are designed to encourage systemic innovation in organ- isations.
