Founded in 2011, SAS has be- come one of the well-known truck repair experts in Klang, thanks to years of hard work and excellent maintenance ser- vice performance. Currently, the company has 25 employees that include a service team of 15 technicians.
To improve business standards and provide better service to customers, SAS invested in a set of Josam CV-Liner wheel alignment equipment from Swe- den in 2018, which is one of the most advanced wheel align- ment systems in the market. Technology, simple operation and excellent technical support are the main reasons for mak- ing this choice.
The Josam CV-Liner wheel alignment equipment utilises advanced lightweight cameras to provide highly accurate wheel alignment results that could be printed and saved to the PC. SAS owner Muhd Shazni Halim said: “Wheel alignment is one of the most important elements in tyre maintenance as it could save 15 to 20 per cent in fuel consumption and tyre costs. The price of a truck and trailer wheel alignment service is be- tween RM100 and RM1,000, and this depends on the num- ber of wheels set."
He added: "Josam CV-Liner wheel alignment equipment uses cam- era technology for measurement, - curate real time wheel alignment adjustment. It is one of the most advanced systems in the market, both in hardware and software. In hardware, the camera battery life is longer and the camera quality and process are also improved. Secondly, the software provides perfect measurement data and ef- fectively reduces the time spent on wheel positioning."
This system is suitable for com- mercial vehicles such as trucks, trailers, buses and light commercial vehicles. By measuring and adjust- ing the tyre angle, you could avoid excessive fuel consumption and abnormal tyre wear, while improv- ing comfort for a better driving ex- perience. A properly wheel aligned vehicle would track the road cor- rectly during the driving process and improve driving safety.
Muhd Shazni noted the lack of a truck owner’s priority to have the vehicle wheels properly aligned in Malaysia compared to those in foreign countries. "The aware-
