Continental Tyre Malaysia Launches Dunlop Formula
C launched its two latest Alor Setar plant-made passenger car tyres - Dunlop Formula D05 and Dunlop SP Sport J5 -at Sunway Lagoon Resort & Spa. Both tyres are the results of local research and development.

The new Dunlop Formula D05 boasts wiper blocks design that increases the road contact area, with the Edge-Effect reducing - lent braking performance on wet road. Compared to its prede- cessor, Dunlop Formula D01, it could accommodate a wider range of operating temperature control, thanks to its advanced Silica Compound Technology. Enhanced grip tread compound also achieves better traction on wet conditions. The four equally distributed wide longitudinal grooves on the tyre accelerate wa-
ter evacuation and equalise water dispersion rate. Leaving no water on the surface of the contact area, it delivers the best tyre grip to the road surface.
