Lindner “Predestined” to Be Export Director – Liqui Moly’s Managing Director

Liqui Moly officially promoted Ingo Lindner to the Export Director role on April 1, 2025. In his new role, Lindner will be responsible for coordinating the company’s export activities and identifying new business opportunities abroad.

Lindner has been working for Liqui Moly in the export field for 16 years. Initially, he was tasked to conduct business in the Scandinavia and Middle East regions as Export Area Manager. Roles in the Benelux, Switzerland, and Spain came after that.

After ending his sales activities, he coordinated cooperation with the global purchasing communities in the automotive aftermarket as Director of International Trade Groups (ITG) from 2020. He also served as Sales Director where he was responsible for the Western Europe, Central America, and South America markets. From 2022, Lindner then served as the Liqui Moly‘s Deputy Export Director.

Currently, the Ulm-based company sells its products in around 150 countries with two-thirds of its total sales coming from abroad. “The export business has become increasingly important for Liqui Moly in recent years, and we still see further potential. I look forward to taking on responsibility for this important business area and continuing the growth course together with the team,” Lindner said in an official statement, commenting on Liqui Moly‘s pursuit of internationalisation.

Before Lindner was appointed, the role of Export Director was held by Salvatore Coniglio, who has also been the Managing Director of Liqui Moly since September 2024. Coniglio is also responsible for the company’s eight subsidiaries in Austria, South Africa, Australia, Italy, France, Iberia, the USA, and the UK.

Coniglio expressed his delight in handing over his responsibilities to Lindner who, according to Coniglio, was “predestined for this task”. “I am very pleased to hand over export management to my current deputy. Ingo Lindner is predestined for this task, thanks to his many years of experience, in-depth knowledge of the market and excellent work in recent years. He will advance our export operations successfully and in the best interests of the company,” he said.
