Linglong Tire Has Been Sponsoring VfL Wolfsburg Since 2014
German Bundesliga outfit, VfL Wolfsburg, is set to celebrate their eighth Bundesliga Diversity Match Day with the support of Linglong Tire. On the home game against 1. FC Heidenheim on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Volkswagen Arena, Wolfsburg players will wear a special diversity jersey on which the Volkswagen and Linglong Tire logos will be displayed in rainbow colours.
In its official statement, Linglong Tire emphasises the importance of fighting back against hatred, whether online, in the stadium, or in society.
“Hate online and offline is no longer a marginal phenomenon, but now affects everyone involved: players, fans and officials are increasingly experiencing hate comments, insults and threats on social networks and in the stadium,” wrote the Chinese company.
“Words have power. What starts as a comment on social networks can hurt people, intimidate them and divide them. This is not only harmful to the individual, but also to sport as a whole and society.”

Linglong Tire has been sponsoring Wolfsburg since 2014. It is currently the official tyre partner and sleeve sponsor of the former German champions. Not only the men’s team, it is also supporting the women’s team compete in the Frauen Bundesliga and the Women’s Champions League.
As a Wolfsburg United Partner, Linglong Tire also supports various national and international CSR projects of VfL Wolfsburg. As an official climate partner, climate protection measures are implemented with other partners to keep global warming below the critical limit of 1.5 degrees.
VfL Wolfsburg’s sponsorship is not the only Linglong Tire‘s venture in European football. It is also the global tyre partner of Real Madrid CF and Chelsea FC.
