Thailand Training Centre Crucial for Linglong Tire’s Asia-Pacific Expansion – VP
Linglong Tire officially opened its first overseas training centre in Thailand earlier this month. The 2000 m² facility, located in the province of Chumphon in southern Thailand, is the result of Linglong Tire‘s cooperation with local Thai partner Sanguan Yangyont Chumphon Co., Ltd. (SYY).
The opening ceremony was attended by Vice President of Linglong Tire, Yongchao Xu, and Chairman of SYY, Prasert Tanpibulsak. Also present at the event were numerous dealers from all over the Asia-Pacific region.
Yongchao Xu said in his speech, “The training centre developed jointly with SYY is a critical building block for Linglong‘s strategic expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. Our goal is to use this platform to establish service standards and standardised training for service providers and dealers to improve their service and competitiveness in the market. In addition, we look forward to introducing our premium Linglong brand and Linglong’s latest and greatest products to many consumers.”
Aside from a training area, Linglong Tire‘s facility in Thailand also has several conference rooms, workshops, and a service area with an integrated Linglong brand shop to provide dealers and workshop staff with comprehensive information and training both in theory and practice.
Everyday workshop activities are simulated in the service area. Trainings are provided not only in the matter of tyre fitting, balancing, and wheel alignment, but also in the sale and maintenance of accessories such as batteries, brake pads, engine oil, shock absorbers, and rims. The training centre in Chumphon also offers a professional and high-quality Linglong Tire brand experience by providing a customer lounge and a café.
