Launch has signed a global agreement with Repairify Inc., a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC.
Repairify Supports Launch
The agreement enables Launch to utilise Repairify’s global remote service centers to provide remote vehicle diagnostic through Smartlink, especial in Europe and North America in where Repairify’s sub-brand as Tech has operated vehicle remote service. Launch Smartlink Remote Diagnosis is able to perform auto fault diagnosis and repair without being on-site. It is not only a new auto repair model in the era of mobile Internet, but also a forward-looking technology to reduce auto maintenance costs.
The Smartlink remote diagnosis supports J2534, CAN, DoIP, CANFD, etc. which covers almost all vehicles. Meanwhile, the remote diagnostic capability depends on the remote diagnostic tools which can be X-431 scanners, OE tools and any third-parity scanners.The agreement enables Repairify to add Launch’s technology, including its SmartLink remote diagnostic system, into its available product offerings. In addition, the agreement will allow Repairify to provide remote OEM and OEM-compatible diagnostic and parts programming services in even more countries.
