CN Allied Trading was appointed by Sentury Tire as the distributor of its Landsail brand in Malaysia. With a new warehouse and its first Landsail Tyre service centre in Bandar PuncakAlam, Selangor, the company is all set to make the name known in the local market.
Landsail Tyres Move into Malaysia
With Sentury Tire (Thailand) Co, Ltd being put into production in August 2015, CN Allied Trading said this had helped to increase production efficiency and enhance Landsail brand’s competitiveness in the region. The Thailand plant is Sentury Tire’s first step of the ‘3+1’ core development strategy towards globalisation and the most advanced 4.0 intelligent factory in the world tyre industry.
The plant, on which Sentury Tire had invested about US$400 million, is strategically located in the Rayong Lisheng Rubber industrial Zone. It adjoins Bangkok and the Laem Chebang Port with convenient transportation and ‘perfect’ infrastructure. Relying on the most advanced ‘Sentury Intelligent Management System’, this 4.0 intelligent plant features intelligence, automation, information and individualisation. The information connects worker, machine, material, craft, quality and energy to form a business process network, process automation and process control intelligence. The production rate is said to be improved by 50 per cent and achieve a quality pass-through rate of 99.8 per cent. With fewer than 500 workers in the production line, the labour cost is reduced by 75 per cent compared to a traditional factory of the same scale.
By March 2016, the production capacity of high–performance Passenger Car Radial (PCR) tyre reached 1.2 million pieces.
Adhering to its advanced management and strength in research and development (R&D) as well as production, Sentury Tire says it is able to produce tyres with world-class standard that are environmentally friendly and high in quality and performance. Besides that, Sentury Tire focuses strongly on R&D, production, sales, logistics and after-sales.
Sentury Tire adds that it responds to the national strategy of ‘One Belt, One Road’ and carries out the developmental philosophies of creation, coordination, environment, opening and sharing. It adheres to an interconnection policy and accelerates economic interaction between China and Thailand. The company says it spares no effort in realising trinity among local infrastructure, legal system and personal communication as well as promoting communication of policy, facility, commerce, accommodation of funds and ‘popular feelings’. All these action is expected to promote relations between China and Thailand, intimate bilateral commercial cooperation and integration into the world economy to a deeper degree.
