The WSC Group has announced that Kumho has developed a bespoke tyre for TCR competition.

The new tyres has been approved by WSC after the successful completion of an evaluation test that took place at Circuit de Barcelona- Catalunya on the day after the TCR Europe’s season finale.
WSC President Marcello Lotti commented;” We are delighted that an important brand as Kumho Tire have lavished with such a big effort to embrace TCR competition. Their dedication to this new collaboration is proven by the quality of their product that was provided for the evaluation test. We have always encouraged the promoters of the different TCR-licensed series to adopt the same tyre, which can enhance the technical partnership as well as the performance on the track and makes it easier for the team to compete in different series.

The new Kumho tyre is now available for TCR promoters who wish to adopt it.
