Jongho Park joined Hankook in 2015 after accumulating 25 years of experience at Humax and Deloitte.
Park Said Europe Is a “Core Market” for Hankook Tire
Jongho Park has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President of Hankook Tire Europe, starting December 1st, 2024. Park took over the role from Sanghoon Lee, who has assumed responsibility as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hankook Tire & Technology.
“I’m very much looking forward to my new role here at Hankook’s European headquarters, particularly because Europe is one of our core markets and is currently undergoing a profound transformation in the mobility sector,” said Park in an official statement.
“Our most important task will be to play a key role in shaping this transformation through our innovation and continuing to strengthen the market position of our company,” he added.
Park joined the Hankook Tire Group in 2015, serving as Chief Purchasing Officer (CPO) and head of the Korea Business Headquarters. Before that, he worked for ten years at Deloitte as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and 15 years as COO at Humax, one of South Korea’s first-generation venture companies. Park was born in 1966 and holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business administration from Yonsei University, Seoul.
