Not only safe on dry and wet roads, the Falken Azenis FK520 is also fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly.
Falken Azenis FK520: Solid on Dry Roads, Reliable on Wet Roads
The Falken Azenis FK520 has successfully achieved an overall “good” rating of 2.4 in a summer tyre test conducted by Europe’s largest automobile association, ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club).
ADAC evaluated 18 summer tyres from various brands in size 225/40 R18. During the test, the Falken Azenis FK520 delivered a solid performance on dry roads with short braking distances and high stability in sudden, evasive manoeuvres. This stability is further enhanced by the tyre’s Aramid Layer Reinforcement, which improves cornering dynamics and high-speed performance by utilizing aramid materials.
On wet roads, the Azenis FK520 showcased its reliability with aquaplaning resistance and short braking distances, recording a stopping distance of 30.5 metres at 80 km/h. Its diamond-cut edges and silencing dimples optimize ground contact for better cornering and braking, while also reducing road noise for a quieter ride.
The results above showed that the Falken Azenis FK520 is a tyre that ensures safety in different driving conditions. Aside from that, the tyre also proved to be fuel-efficient with its “good mileage and low abrasion,” according to the company’s official statement.
Its lightweight construction, which reduces weight by up to 10% compared to its predecessor, the FK510, contributes to better rolling resistance and improved fuel efficiency. These attributes make the FK520 an environmentally friendly choice for drivers seeking both performance and efficiency.
In addition to its “good” rating from ADAC, the Falken Azenis FK520 has also received commendations from three leading auto magazines in Germany: Autozeitung, Auto Bild, and Sport Auto.
