Continental AllSeasonContact 2 the Best All-Season Tyre of 2024

A recent test conducted by Auto Club Europe (ACE) showed that the Continental AllSeasonContact 2 performed well above its competitors.

There Was a 6.3-metre of Braking Distance Difference between AllSeasonContact 2 and the Lowest Ranked Tyre

The Continental AllSeasonContact 2 secured the top spot in the all-season tyre test recently published by ACE (Auto Club Europe), receiving the highest rating of “highly recommended.”

ACE, along with the Car, Motor, and Cyclist Association of Austria (ARBÖ) and the Society for Technical Monitoring (GTÜ), tested nine tyre models of size 215/50 R18 on a VW T-Roc.

Their evaluation revealed significant differences in performance across various driving conditions, including snowy, wet, and dry roads. One notable finding was the 6.3-metre difference in braking distance at 100 km/h between the test winner, Continental, and the lowest-ranked tyre—a length equivalent to about one and a half small cars.

The experts from Stuttgart tested the all-season tyres under various road conditions, with the results demonstrating that these tyres offer reliable safety throughout the year. ACE also highlighted that nearly one in three tyres sold in Europe is an all-season tyre, emphasizing their increasing popularity. According to ACE, the Continental AllSeasonContact 2 stands out for its well-balanced performance across all driving conditions.

Last year, Continental introduced the AllSeasonContact 2, an upgraded version of its award-winning predecessor. The tyre is designed for a range of vehicles, including cars and SUVs, regardless of their drive type.

Compared to its predecessor, the AllSeasonContact 2 features significant improvements, including enhanced performance and reduced rolling resistance without compromising safety. It provides better handling on dry roads and offers shorter braking distances on both dry and wet surfaces. The AllSeasonContact 2 is available in a wide variety of sizes, supporting rim diameters from 15 to 21 inches.
