Atturo Tire introduced the fourth tyre in its Trail Blade series with the most intimidating tyre design to date – the Trail Blade BOSS.

“This is our first time participating in the CITEXPO 2017. Atturo Tire is the tyre brand dedicated to SUV, Crossover and Light Truck (4×4) segments. We are a US company and have our manufacturing partner in Taiwan and Thailand, which increases our competitiveness in this region,” said Marketing Associate Joe Gomez.
The new Trail Blade BOSS features tread that are designed from the Quartermaster QSA-1 BOSS HOG knife, a blade made for heavy duty, hard core use. Alternating shoulder blocks follow the outline of the knife handle tread. The tread’s high void ratio is said to provide superior grip across varied terrain. Smaller centre tread blocks are linked for stability from the high abrasion abuse of rocks. Beneath the tread lies a 3-ply sidewall for load capacity and protection.
According to Gomez, this new tyre provides 17-per cent better traction in deep mud, 10-per cent better in gravel and 9-per cent better in sand based on the Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) test against the Trail Blade M/T.
“We just released a new size for the Trail Blade BOSS tyre, 38X13.50R 24LT 123Q M+S, for off-roaders,” he added.
Gomez also revealed that the company was in search of a distributor in Malaysia.
