Apollo Tyres Signed a One-Year Deal with AS Monaco

Apollo Tyres‘ Vredestein brand will appear on AS Monaco’s shirt sleeve, stadium, and social media throughout the season.

AS Monaco and Apollo Tyres’ Deal Could Be Extended to a Multi-Year Agreement

Apollo Tyres has signed a one-year deal with French football giant, AS Monaco, to put the Vredestein brand as the club’s shirt-sleeve sponsor. This deal, according to the company’s official statement, is “to enhance the visibility of its premium Vredestein Tyres brand.”

Apollo Tyres hopes that the collaboration with AS Monaco will help drive awareness of Vredestein‘s products to a broader audience in France and internationally. Monaco are currently playing in Ligue 1, one of the “big five” leagues in European football. The new sleeve sponsor appeared for the first time when Monaco played against Stade Brestois on November 22nd.

Yves Pouliquen, Vice President of Commercial, Europe at Apollo Tyres, says, “This partnership is an exciting opportunity to strengthen Vredestein’s presence in one of our key markets. AS Monaco’s rich history and commitment to excellence mirror our focus on performance and innovation. We look forward to building a successful relationship with the club and celebrating its achievements this season.”

Even though the initial deal is only for one season, Apollo Tyres has the option to extend into a multi-year agreement, creating a pathway for a long-term presence in elite-level French football. Monaco are specifically chosen by the tyre manufacturer because they have “a remarkable legacy, securing eight Ligue 1 titles, eight Coupe de France trophies, and one Coupe de la Ligue.”

Thibaut Chatelard, Marketing and Revenue Director of AS Monaco, adds, “We are delighted to welcome Apollo Tyres and its Vredestein brand to the family of AS Monaco partners. This collaboration makes sense in view of the values we share, such as the constant pursuit of performance and excellence. There’s no doubt that this new support will be precious for the rest of our season, which promises to be thrilling.”

The Vredestein has also been displayed at Monaco’s home stadium, Stade Louis II, through LED boards around the pitch. Furthermore, Vredestein will appear prominently through exclusive social media campaigns to reach a broader audience.

This announcement further strengthens Apollo Tyres’ commitment to the world of competitive sports, building on successful partnerships with Manchester United Football Club, the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, and the Mille Miglia classic rally series.

Vredestein, a premium tyre brand originating in the Netherlands in 1908, is celebrated for its quality and design. Known for pioneering all-season tyres in the early 1990s, Vredestein continues to lead the market, particularly within all-season and winter tyre segments.
