Nokian Tyres CEO: Hyvönen Had Done “Excellent Work in a Challenging Environment”

Nokian Tyres announced on 2 October 2024 that Anna Hyvönen, Executive Vice President Car Tyres and Vianor, will leave the company after July 2025.

Hyvönen, who joined Nokian Tyres in 2016, was appointed EVP Car Tyres and Vianor in 2020 following the departure of Mark Earl. This appointment added North America to her responsibilities which, at the time, had already included the Nordics region and the Vianor retail tyre and auto service business.

Jukka Moisio, President and CEO of Nokian Tyres, said in an official statement that Hyvönen had done “excellent work in a challenging environment.”

“I want to thank Anna for her contribution to Nokian Tyres, first leading the Vianor business in 2016, and now, in the end, both the Passenger Car Tyres and Vianor businesses,” said Moisio.

“Anna has done excellent work in a challenging environment, building Nokian Tyres‘ future success. Even though we still will have time to work together, we wish her already now all the best for the future,” he added.

Moisio will also step down from his position at Nokian Tyres and will be replaced by Paolo Pompei as President and CEO from 1 January 2025.
