Mercedes-AMG recommends using General Tire Grabber AT3 as it provides better grip and stability for the G63 SUV.
General Tire Grabber AT3, Maximum Safety On and Off the Road
Mercedes-AMG has officially recommended General Tire Grabber AT3 as an alternative tyre option for the G63 SUV.
The G63 is the sporty, high-performance version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Originally, the SUVs were factory-fitted with the Grabber HTS60 as their original equipment. However, Mercedes-AMG has now recommended using the 20-inch Grabber AT3 tyres with special M01A markings for better grip and stability.
“The all-terrain tyre offers maximum safety even in off-road driving and performs equally well on gravel as in mud and sand,” according to an official release by General Tire.
The Grabber AT3 all-terrain tyre from General Tire, part of the Continental Group, is designed to provide optimal safety and performance. The all-season tyre features a tread pattern engineered to deliver balanced handling across diverse weather conditions and is certified with the snowflake symbol, indicating its suitability for winter driving.
Mercedes-AMG’s endorsement also highlights the Grabber AT3’s high mileage potential and durability, with approval for speeds up to 210 km/h. The 4×4 tyre is now recommended for G63 owners seeking an all-terrain option that complements the SUV’s off-road prowess without compromising safety and handling.
For maximum experience, Mercedes-AMG has specifically recommended the following size for the G63: General Tire Grabber AT3 MO1A, 275/50 R 20 113H XL.
