Linglong Tire’s Plant in Serbia Has Contributed Positively to the Local Economy
130 Linglong Tire dealers from the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region gathered at the company’s first European tyre plant in Zrenjanin, Serbia. This gathering took place in early August 2024 following a meeting of Linglong‘s European tyre dealers.
Even though a large part of the tyres produced in Serbia are sold on the European and US markets, the opportunity was taken to present the state-of-the-art plant and intelligent production to the guests. The factory is one of the largest and most important foreign investment projects in Serbia.
Simo Salapura, Mayor of Zrenjanin, who was invited as a guest of honor, presented the importance of Linglong Tire in the region and praised the positive contribution of the tyre plant to the local economy.
Feng Wang, CEO and President of Linglong Tire, recalled the company’s deep connection with Serbia and expressed his sincere gratitude to the Serbian government and President Aleksandar Vučić for their support.
Wang also thanked the dealers for the cooperative partnership and explained in detail the latest developments in the Chinese company as well as future plans. Long-term cooperation agreements were also signed with a total of 16 strategic partners in order to work even more closely together in the future.
Linglong Tire Vice President Yongchao Xu analysed the global tyre market and gave interesting insights, especially into the markets of the dealers present, announced the latest sales figures and awarded the most successful dealers.
The Linglong development department presented the latest products and technologies from the areas of passenger cars, trucks, and OTR. To exchange experiences, representatives of dealers from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Zimbabwe and Uganda, among others, also gave lectures and reported on the close cooperation with Linglong Tire in the respective countries.
All dealers then visited the Linglong Tire flagship store in Belgrade and received suggestions and ideas for the future marketing of Linglong tyres in their home markets.
