First-time participant Badak Enterprises Sdn Bhd was the only Malaysian exhibitor in the recent CITEXPO 2017.
Badak Enterprises Sets Sights on China Expansion
“Together with our manufacturing partner in Thailand, we have been making and selling solid tyres for forklifts for about 20 years. We have two brands, Komachi and Badak. Last year, we won the Best Thailand Research Award for ‘Energy Saving Solid Tyre’ that recognised our drive towards continuous research in quality and customer satisfaction improvement,” said Executive Director Wesley Lin.
Badak brand, he said, was well received in the market. The company’s distribution network covers Asia, North America, South America and Europe. It is now eyeing China as a potentially vast market for the company’s high quality solid tyres.
“The main objective of our participation was to create awareness of our brands and find dealers in different parts of China to help us expand. Badak new solid tyres are made of selected high quality natural rubber blended with synthetic rubber under a stringent quality control manufacturing process using the latest technology. Badak is the preferred choice for today’s demanding forklifts as it offers flexibility, durability, better ozone and heat resistance to minimise wear and tear. Furthermore, our special tread design with deeper and wider tread not only offer resistance to tearing or cracking, but also enables it to withstand higher loads with a longer life span.”
What was worth mentioning, he said, was that Badak solid tyres could handle damping and vibrations in the most severe job conditions. Its enhanced tyre structure made it fit well with the wheel.
The available sizes were from 300-4 to 1200-20. “We are the only solid tyre provider who provides warranty and this reflects the confidence we have in our products. For new solid tyres, we offer a warranty of up to 2,000 hours of service while for retreaded solid tyres, it’s up to 600 hours.”
He added that Komachi was the premium new solid tyre with a 3-layer structure. Komachi was manufactured using natural rubber and a special compound, and offered high quality with low rolling resistance, cost efficiency and long durability under heavy load conditions.
Apart from manufacturing and selling new solid tyres as well as installing them, the company also provided repairs and on-site repair services for solid tyres and alloy wheels as well as retreading services.
“We also sell forklifts, provide forklift rental services, engage in tyre dust and forklift accessories retail as added value services to our customers,” he added.
